Description: This is an almost-perfect MacBook Pro from Late 2013, with very nice specs: a 2.3 GHz Intel i7, 16 GB of RAM, and a 500 GB SSD disk. The case (see pictures) is excellent, with one tiny nick on the top and two on the underside; the Retina display is gorgeous, with no dead pixels, and with an NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M driving it. Power? The original power adapter is, of course, included. System Information shows the battery as having a full charge capacity of 7761 mAh after 95 cycles. Practically, I charged it up this morning and left it in idle; after 6 hours, it still had 45% of its charge. More is always better than less, but this should be enough for anything you're likely to do. The ports are fine -- two USB-A, two Thunderbolt (the best way to connect an external monitor), HDMI (second best), and SD card; they're all good. The keyboard is rock solid. There's even the original set of (limited) documentation, and a polishing cloth for the Retina display. So is there a catch? Well, yes: The trackpad works, but has issues. The mouse tracking works just fine, but the button-pressing only works for the bottom half of the trackpad -- you can press it on the half of the trackpad closest to the bottom edge of the computer. Personally, I always used this at a desk, with a mouse connected, so I hardly even noticed it. Other workarounds, like enabling "tap on the trackpad = mouse click" are also available. So I could try to sell you on how it doesn't even matter, but... nah, I obviously have to mention it. Having said that, I've tried adjust the price to account for the imperfection. But, again, sitting at a desk, like I almost always used it, I always preferred using a mouse to reaching up and over to the trackpad. Maybe you feel the same way? Maybe that's enough to make you CLICK AWAY!
