Description: Nice old watercolor painting of what looks like a northern U.S. wetlands in the fall. From the estate collection of a former NY antiques store owner. A good antiques store too I’d think. Their collection contained a lot of high end silver and high end heavy fine gold, among many other good things. They seemed not to own anything that wasn’t too or close to top quality. I purchased a group of four watercolors from the estate and this was among them. The artist was skilled and captured this simple scene with elegance. The piece is signed C.A.W. bottom right.
