This lovely, eye-catching antique oil lamp was converted to electric at some point in its history, and now has been cleaned, tested and is working well. The solid brass and brass plated cast iron base has a lovely patina. The lamp is heavily weighted because of the cast iron base, so it is very sturdy. The stone in the pedestal of the lamp is a stunning light green color, has no chips or cracks and seems to be agate or jadeite. The gorgeous glass shade and chimney have no chips or cracks. The frosted / etched details on the shade have some rubs and tiny marks in the finish here and there, but nothing noticeable when in use. No maker's markings have been found on the lamp - it is from a large antique lighting collection in NC, USA. Use 1 standard-base light bulb up to 60 watts, or use an LED bulb for any brightness you like, as they use low wattage for bright light. Light bulb not included.
