Description: This offering is for a 19th century clear glass pitcher. The pitcher measures app. 9.5" in height and features a very nice form with an applied handle. I think this would commonly be called barware, it's quite heavy. The body was free formed and the bottom rim or foot has a ground surface. The glass quality is crude with a lot of creases, stress lines and what I would call crackling which is visible in the base. I don't think any of the junky stuff is actually cracks. Looks to me like the lines and creases were done in the making. The pitcher will look great displayed with early barware mugs and glasses.
