Description: This offering is for an antique daguerreotype photograph of a beautifully posed older woman. The image features the lady in a seated view, arms in her lap holding what I believe is probably her knitting. She is contained in her original full mother of pearl inlaid paper mache case, the mat and wrap are also in place. The image is a sixth plate in size measuring app. 2 3/4" by 3 1/4". The image has both an excellent focus and contrast. The seals are missing and there is some tarnish visible at the edges of mat opening. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 9.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
