The box features a landscape scene with two figures among trees, hills, rock work and plants. The background is carved with concentric squares that are also noted around the sides of the box. The interior is black. We believe the box to be for the early part of the 20th Century, but buyer should examine all the photographs to determine the age on their own. This box is not perfect. It has some small dings/breaks to the corners of the lid and the bottom portion is missing a small piece near one corner. The lid has a slight warp. Overall, the box is in fair to good condition, but would still make a great addition to any collection. Please take the time to carefully examine all the photographs for more details. Contact seller if you have any questions or if you require additional photographs for inspection. Measurements: The box stands approximately1-3/4” in height. It measures 3” in length x 2-1/2” deep. It weighs 4.8 ounces. All measurements are approximate, but close. Condition: We carefully examined this item. As mentioned in the description, there are corners of the lid and portions of the bottom of the box that have chipped, missing pieces, or breaks. The top has a crack at one corner and is slightly warped. The bottom portion of the box has a small piece missing near one corner and shows wear on the underside. There is a couple of black marking pen lines at the lower portion of the lid on the front & back sides (see photographs).
