Description: Small oval double picture frame in a lovely repousse design on brass dating from the Victorian Era.The double oval frames are connected with a hinge that enables them to fold like a book and they stretch apart for display with a curved rod ending in a ball connected inside the hinge.The repousse design on the front is just exquisite.Each frame measures 3 3/4" long X almost 3" wide.The actual size of the picture showing through is 2 3/4" long X 1 3/4" wide.The double frame is in a very nice antique displaying condition with minor issues that the glass on the front is missing from both frames and also there is oxidation on the inside of the brass where the repousse design is, that can probably clean but we did not attempt is.Also, the brass on the back covers shows age but that is part of its beauty being that it is so old.Please look at all our pictures as they are also part of the description.
