Description: The front of this book has the the name Clara C. Barrington with a date of 1870. Underneath that is a stamped name -- Mrs. Henry B. Molony from Harwich Mass. I assume this book changed hands at some point. The writing is somewhat hard to decipher but she seems to go into a fair amount of detail on many of the recipes, which include soups, seafood, meats, puddings, cakes, etc. This is a fairly skinny book. There are a few empty pages, but the majority of the book is filled (I counted over 50 pages with writing). I have a few other recipe books listed . . . always happy to combine shipping.
