Description: Here we have a lovely antique shield ring from the 1900s. The ring is made of 14k yellow gold, three turquoise stones, and inlaid black enamel. The gold has a slightly rosy hue to it but I wouldn't call it a pure rose gold. The three turquoise stones appear to be relatively uncut and maintain a natural shape. There are ornate engraved designs accented with black enamel on the face of the ring as well as on the two rectangles found on either side of the face. The band is done in an interesting open design with four separate thin bands spaced out evenly and connected in four different spots. This piece is in good antique condition with few issues to note. Two of the solder points connecting the thin bands are cracked, the cracks are hardly noticeable to the naked eye and do not effect the structural integrity of the ring. There is some slight chipping in the enamel on the face of the ring. The gold has sustained minor scuffs and scratches from a century of wear and storage.
