Description: Beautiful Antique Thermoplastic Photograph Case 6th plate, Berg #3-124 (L61). A scarce example of the beautiful geometric design, this case is in almost perfect condition. There are no cracks or chips and the design has almost all of its original sheen. Excellent hinges and latch. Lovely magenta pillow. Of special note is the ambrotype of a group of eight adults. The group could be siblings but more likely represents the faculty of a school or college. The ambro is deteriorating at the edges but the subjects are clear and sharp. Very good mat, frame and glass. NOTE: the hinge side of the case may have had an old repair. Ships USPS Ground Advantage.
