Description: YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1800S ONE GALLON STONEWARE JUG WITH A SALT GLAZE AND APPLIED HANDLE. THE MAKER IS NOT KNOWN BUT STAMPED INTO THE JUG IS BANGOR MAINE. THE PIECE IS BEEHIVE SHAPED AND THE HANDLE HAS BEEN APPLIED. THERE ARE 2 CHIPS ON THE RIM OF THE JUG. THERE ARE CRACKS AND INDENTS IN THE JUG THAT CAME WHEN IT WAS MADE. THERE IS SOME SLIGHT DISCOLORATION. THE PIECE MEASURES 12" TALL AND 6 3/4" ON THE BOTTOM. OTHER THAN THE 2 SMALL CHIPS THE JUG IS IN GOOD SHAPE. WILL DOUBLE BOX FOR SHIPPING THIS IS A NICE PIECE AND GREAT FOR A COLLECTOR. JUST CAME OUT OF AN OLD ESTATE. SOLD AS IS AND I WILL LIST ANYTHING I SEE THAT IS WRONG WITH THEM.
