Description: Exquisite Antique 19C snuff Box / Casket French Ormolu Bronze with German Banded-Agatepanels and handmade marbles for feet This wonderful little antique Miniature Casket / Box features: Handmade French ormolu (gilt) bronze, and German banded agate, and was most likely made in France during the 19th century (1800's).Featuring beautiful fine German hand-cut agate panels and handmade marbles for feet, this diminutive box, which could have contained snuff, stamps, trinkets, or perhaps a lock of a beloved’s hair, features a gilded-bronze frame raised on four ball agate feet with a well-fitting hinged lid. Measurements: 2 7/8” (73mm) W x 1 3/4” (45mm) D x 1 1/2” (40mm) H Condition: Beautiful antique condition, Age appropriate wear as shown in photos.
