Description: Beautiful Scottish Victorian era brooch or cape/cloak pin with huge reddish/pink glass bezel set stone in silver tone setting. Wraparound pin hinge with wide C (lever) clasp closure. The brooch measures just over 2.5" in diameter and the stone measures just under 1" in diameter. Metal has not been tested and there are no markings of any kind on the brooch or pin. Focal stone present and secure in setting. Pin and catch in good working condition. One very small chip on one facet near the table of the stone, but not that noticeable. I have not cleaned this piece, as I leave that to the buyer to decide. As with all vintage items, there will be some wear, commensurate with age so items are sold as-is.
