Antique Scheibe-Alsbach Porcelain Sitting Girl Figurine

Description: Description: Beautiful Scheibe-Alsbach statue "Sitting Girl". Features a lovely young lady in a gold flowing dress seated sideways on a chair. The pictures don't do this piece justice. She is on a white and gold trimmed platform. There are two signatures on this piece, the blue one on the back corner of the base and an impressed mark inside the bottom. There is also a model # (?) impressed in the gold trim on the back of the base. Please review all of the photos and notice that the some of the gold on the statue is slightly dull looking and needs a good cleaning having been in storage a long time. I am reluctant to do this myself. An ebay user contacted me with the following information: "This Item represents Miss Elisabeth Vigée Lebrun or her daughter who is the great painter of the queen of France Marie Antoinette" Statue is 9" tall and the base is 4" x 4" See photos for more info.
