Description: Rookwood tea trivet popular through the first quarter of the past century. Marked with the date 1927. This particular tile is an especially lovey example, having a colorful hand painted figure of a Dutch or Bavarian lady and a vellum glaze.The design is moulded into the tile and there were a few other colourways for this design. I think this one is the prettiest. Properly marked on the reverse (see photo) I have ONE tile, in very good condition. please look at the photos carefully; This is a beauty. I will pack it really well.
