Description: Antique Rare early Rembrandt Van Ryn Punch Copper Large Plaque Picture. Please notice how they misspelt Rembrandt's name as Rembrant. I believe this piece is from the 1800s or early 1900s. Has a very nice patina to it. The plaque itself is in very rough shape. The decorative trim ring is coming off the plaque in multiple spots. The edges are very bent and tweaked. I believe this piece would have originally measured 24 inches x 24 inches. Because of all the bends it now measures approx. 23 1/2 x 23 inches ( different in places). The copper is very thin and unfortunately has developed some cracks and holes on the bottom.
