Description: Lovely small cricket bench or foot stool, 19th C. Measures 12" long x 7" x 6.5". May have had several paint coats over the years, outer is mustard yellow with what appear to be later added blue rosemale painted fleurishes and flowers. Paint has some chipping, several boards have shrinkage cracks that don't affect function or strength. Unique cutout for the handle. Heavy for the size, thick boards were used. Lots of alligator finish to paint from age, storage and use. See photos, all sides shown. Would make a nice riser on a cupboard. Thanks for looking!
