Antique Primitive Farmhouse Country Dough Bowl Raw Unfinished Rustic

Description: Offering this Antique, likely 1800s Primitive Farmhouse Dough Bowl. This early Americana piece has lots of Primitive appeal, with a mixture of grains and swirls in its wood patterns. it is raw wood and unfinished. May even be burlwood, but I am not sure. Guessing it is maple, by the somewhat golden tone of the wood. This bowl is in solid antique condition, but has two unrepaired cracks which do not compromise the structure because the bowl is very sturdy and holds together firmly. It is very heavily used and shows its age with many surface scratches and discolorations, both inside and out. The measurements are about 13” in diameter (it is slightly out of round from age), and approximarely 5” deep. This is a wonderful Primitive Farmhouse bowl and shows lots of history, and would display well as a centerpiece on a large farm table. There is age appropriate wear and many imperfections which add to its Primitive authenticity and character, and would be a beautiful decorative piece for any Primitive or farmstyle home.
