Description: Here's a very interesting Oriental Blue and White porcelain bowl of considerable age.I don't know much about this lovely bowl, it is likely to be Japanese (or possibly Chinese) and dating from the middle of the 19th century.Beautifully decorated in a deep blue stencilled pattern. Definitely worthy of further research. Bowl measures approx. 15cm across, 6cm high. There appear to be some original firing marks, but there are no chips. There's a possible hairline crack, though it doesn't really detract from the pleasing appearance of this delightful piece. (please see photos to assess).
