Description: Stunning antique Noritake platter or serving tray. Off white with dark orange & gold floral decoration Raised gold basket of flowers center detail Hand Painted Made in Japan Measures 12" diameter According to the Noritake Collectors Guild, the makers mark would date this spectacular plate to 1918-1921, from the Nippon Era to the Art Deco Era. This platter is in very good condition. There are no cracks or chips but there is a pea sized "bubble"... a tiny raised spot about ½" below the basket bottom. I tried to photograph it but it's so hard to see that it doesn't show. You really have to hold it up to the light on a certain slant to see it...it's truly insignificant. Very slight utensil marks.
