Condition is variable and this is shown on the photos which are part of the description and do not need to be written separately. Some will have been adapted by previous owners. Some will also have dormant woodworm holes. If you are in any doubt please contact BEFORE purchasing as these are not subject to return. I do not refurbish in any way these planes and are as received other than being dusted down and wiped with a cloth containing linseed oil. Headings may not be 100% accurate as I am not sure of all types of plane variations. Chisels & Planes and other items which need sharpening, should be purchased on the assumption they will need honing, even if this is not the case. Each person's opinion varies on sharpness and condition, so no mention is made of their sharpness, hence, assume they need to be honed. If you have failed to look at the photo's correctly, this is down to the buyer and no returns will be accepted for something that is obvious on the enlarged photo's.
