Antique Masonic Enamel Medal Detroit MI Arab Patrol Sphinx Pyramids Wolverines

Description: Offered here is a very nice enameled Masonic medal from Detroit, Michigan. To the best of my knowledge it dates to sometime around 1900 to 1910? The top section has the Detroit emblem in the center flanked by two wolverines the state animal. The larger bottom section features at the top a scimitar sword over which is centered a MOLSLEM emblem in white and red enamels. Below in raised capital letters is the words : ARAB PATROL below which is a nice Egyptian view.The raised view has the three great pyramids, the Sphinx, two riders on camels.On the horizon there is a sun with long rays. On the back of the bottom section there is a maker’s nark stamped into the metal that reads in small capital letters: W. A. STURGEON & CO. A beautiful bright original antique Masonic medal indeed….. Size: Top to bottom it is 3” high. The top section is 1 & 7/8” wide. Condition: Beautiful clean and bright condition allover.
