Description: We offer for your consideration this pair of antique Victorian era Mantle Lusters. These mantle lusters are blow molded cased glass, white on the interior and pink on the outside.The top rim is cut, scrolled and beveled. The exterior is also decorated with hand painted flowers and some hints of gold lustre. Both of which require step down firings to create. The hand painted flowers have a raised texture, somewhat like moriage. Each luster has 16 crystals, 8 inner ring 3/4 by 3 7/8ths coffin style crystals, the outer ring are 3/4 by 5 3/4 in. spear style crystals. All these crystals are paired with 3/4 in. octagon crystals. These lusters stand approximately 13 3/8ths inches tall, and about 6 inches in diameter at the top rim.They weigh approximately 3.5 pounds. There is a repair made to one of them (See pictures) There are three crystals that have chips, but fortunately replacements are still available.Even with these minor flaws, the overall beauty and charm of these pieces remains. If you are a collector, or if you have a Salon decorated in a Victorian style, these will make very nice additions to your decor
