Description: ANTIQUE LIMOGES PORCELAIN CIDER PITCHER & 7 CUPS CIRCA EARLY 1900'S PRODUCED IN LIMOGES, FRANCE BY WILLIAM GUERIN & CO The Cider Pitcher Indicates Limoges France W.G.&Co 250 on The Bottom And Dates From 1900-1932The Cups Are Marked PMR above a Peacock, and Below the Peacock is Bavaria Jaeger & CoPMR stands for Porzellanfabrik Marktredwitz, Bavaria (no I didn't have my fingers on the wrong keys)And They are Circa 1920's The Pieces Were Produced as Blankware (No Design), Then Sent To A Local Artist Or Hobbyist to Hand Paint the Pieces With His/Her Own Design.Each Pitcher and Set of Cups is Unique In Design, With No Two Sets exactly Alike Since These Pieces Do Not Show An Artist's Signature, I can only Assume aHobbyist Created The Striking Design, And This Would Account For The Different Makers. The Set Includes The Limoges Porcelain Pitcher and 7 PMR Jaeger Porcelain Cups, All Hand Painted With The Same PatternPitcher is 6" Tall to The Rim - 8 3/4" Wide From End of Spout to Outside of HandleAnd 7 3/4" Diameter at BellyCups are 3 3/4" High and 2 3/4" diameter at RimThe Pitcher and 7 Cups are in Excellent Condition. (There is an 8th Cup that, Alas, has a Hole in the Bottom, Which I'm Including in Your Purchase to be Used for Display Purposes as the Break Does Not Show When Presented with the Grouping.
