Description: Up for sale is a large antique Stag Antler handled corkscrew. It is hallmarked JH Which I understands is for John Hasselbring and STERLING" on endcap. It Measures 8 1/2" wide and 5 ½” from bottom of the screw point to top of the handle. I understand from the net that John Hasselbring was born in Germany in 1865 . He worked as a silversmith in Brooklyn NY 1890 to 1920s and produced very high quality sterling silver items. The screw mechanism is unmarked. 1Please ask questions if you are not sure of something and I will answer to the best of my ability. I bought this at an estate sale. I am not a collector or expert.
