Description: This five-piece Indiana Glass Berry Bowl set is a great example of Early American Pattern (Pressed) Glass. The set includes a large fruit bowl and four individual serving bowls, all with a beautiful strawberry and Roman key band pattern. The pattern was also known as the 'Strawberry Band' pattern or, for the company, No. 127. The round shape of the bowls features raised (embossed) designs of strawberries and leaves as well as incised Roman Keys. The entire set is made of thick, glossy glass. Crafted in 1912 by the renowned Indiana Glass Company, this antique set is a perfect addition to a collection. The set weighs 3 pounds and 14.6 ounces. The set is in good antique condition. There are no chips or cracks on any of the pieces. There is significant scratching on the lower portion of the large bowl (pictures 8 & 9), minimal scratching on the berry bowls. The paint on the Roman keys is mostly intact on each bowl. The paint for the strawberries and leaves is mostly worn away on the large bowl (pictures 3-7), but reasonably intact on the berry bowls. Please review all of the pictures for a complete sense of the description. Thank you!
