Description: Hyde & Goodrich ceased production in 1862 when New Orleans fell during the Civil War. No date stamp on this piece. Weighs in at 74.2 grams. Tested as silver, should be coin silver (90%) since that is what they worked in. Unable to identify pattern. Etched with "Shaw" on the underside of the handle. As is, I did not polish it up. Minor scratches and wear from age.
