Description: Up for sale is a wonderful antique early 19th century handmade Indian Kumkum spice box.it's made out of thick brass, has acquired a wonderful patina from age and consists of 7 hinged compartments.the peacock finial has a hand threaded shaft the locks the lids into place and allows them to open when unthreaded.it is nicely footed and in good working condition.measures 2 1/2 inches wide by 2 inches tall.
