Description: Outstanding antique handpainted enamel trinket box in the shape of an artist's palette. It has seascape with 2 ships and a church in background. All sides decorated with florals and bottom of box signed "SX". I am not sure if English or French, but Battersea style enamel on metal. Measures 3-3/4" x 2-1/4" and 1" high. Very good condition, only the very smallest signs of age.
