Description: For your consideration is this Griswold-made Victor cast iron skillet. Griswold produced their Victor line of cast iron cookware with the same quality as the Griswold marked pieces, but sold at a lower price. Produced from the late 1800’s until the 1930’s, several versions of Victor skillets were produced. This version was made between 1905-1909 and was available in sizes 7,8,9. The cooking surface is very smooth with a few light utensil marks from use. The bottom is marked Victor at the top with part no. 722 and n the middle and size number 8 at the bottom. There is a spot of light pitting in the center indicating this piece was used on the old coal stoves of the day. There is a small casting flaw to the right of the handle (pictured). Sits flat. Cleaned with electrolysis and scrubbed to bare iron, then seasoned 3 times. Ready to use or display. Measurements: Diameter-10 inches Length-14.75 inches Height-2 inches
