Description: This Antique GRISWOLD Erie PA Cast Iron Corn Bread Pan 954 E Early Style 1910s-1920s Impressed markings read: 954 (pattern no.) / E (mold id) GRISWOLD / CORN BREAD PAN / "ERIE PENN U.S.A." Both handles have a hanging hole. The pan measures ~14 1/2 inches long handle to handle. by 7-1/2 inches wide and weighs ~5 pd. & 7 oz. ounces. It is in remarkably good shape & with minimal if any rust on the front where it likely was coated with lard daily. The back side has some light rust inside the groves. It is in very well preserved condition. This is a very collectible hard-to-find pan with no chips, cracks, notable rust, pitting or repairs. It is ready to cook and displays beautifully.
