Description: Antique French German Black Forest Style Clock Movement W/ Hands Silk Thread?. Unusual early movement, came to me on a board with a toasted 4 3/8” diameter enamel dial. Has its count wheel on the back of the strike side mainspring casing. Looks like it was set up for a hanging silk thread suspension but I’m not certain. Both mainsprings feel good, otherwise untested and sold for parts or repair. Please view all twelve photos for measurements and condition.
