Description: A beautiful French Napoleon III guilloche enamel and dore pill/patch casket box c. 1850. In a striking green snowflake/star design on a black/forest green ground outlined with a gold leaf design. The interior is brass dore. The box closes and opens with a tight snap & lid lays flat. The box is not marked. Approx 1 3/4” diameter. The box is in good with a number of white enamel dots missing from gilt swags. There are some light scratches on the bottom, no actual chips as the surface feels smooth. There is some light pitting on inside and wear to brass in places. See photos for best details.
