Description: This listing is for a Leitz microscope condenser - Abbe-type with working iris and 30mm swing-out filter carrier. The condenser dates to about 1910 to 1915 and is in good condition for its age. The condenser fit diameter is 39.5mm so it doesn't fit a standard 39mm mount and will therefore only fit a Leitz mount of this specific diameter. The iris vanes are a little rusty in places but the iris still moves OK and the iris adjustment lever is in place. The filter carrier moves freely and takes standard 30mm Leitz filters and you'll see I've shown it fitted with a blue and a frosted glass filter in the listing photos - these filters are shown for illustration only and are not included in this listing - I've got them listed elsewhere.
