Description: This Early American Pressed Glass set consists of 2 antique, chocolate slag Greentown Glass Sugar Bowls n the Dewey Pattern. There are no lids with either sugar bowl. They were produced by Greentown from 1898 - 1900. The detail is gorgeous with the a beaded pattern that extends down onto the feet. When side by side, it's interesting to see the variations that come from utilizing slag glass. One is darker with striations of color across the interior. The other, a lighter chocolate color with no variation throughout the interior. Both are in excellent condition, with only a small chip on a mouth petals of the darker sugar bowl noted. Please review photos for a detailed image. Outside of the chip, no other chips, cracks, or damage have been noted.
