Description: Antique Dark Blue Historical Staffordshire Clews Wilkies Escape of Mouse Plate Here is a very attractive antique Clews Historical Staffordshire style dark blue transferware "Wilkies Designs The Excape of the Mouse" plate. It measures about 10 1/8" in diameter. It is in very good condition overall. There is an old repair/touch-up to outside edge. A bit more of the old fill-in flaked off after I took the photos so gap on right edge of repair is about 3/16" long. There is a superficial glaze flake near man's arm measuring less than 1/16" across. There are no other chips or cracks. There are some light utensil marks visible on close examination. Overall nice and glossy. Please see photos.
