Description: Antique Count Thun Austria Hand Painted Green Hops & Gold Cake Plate Nice antique porcelain cake plate. Decorated with hand painted green hops over a purple, pink, blue, green, and yellow background. With gold gilding along the edge. Signed byt eh artist M. B. E. Marked on the bottom with an impressed TK mark, which was used by Gräflich Thun'sche Porzellanfabrik Klösterle (also known as Count Thun Factory) between 1830 and 1895.Also marked on the bottom in green with a crown over Vienna Austria. This is a mark used by the Count Thun factory on pieces imported by PH Leonard and later by Bawo & Dotter starting around 1905. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 10 1/2 inches wide from handle to handle. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. BXIX
