The condition is from acceptable to good. The Harper's Pictorial Part Second (volume 2) has no cover, loose pages, missing pages (the last pages of the book, the Index Section, letters (Starts at page 833), N thru Z. Tears, holes, blemishes, bumped, chipped, foxing, browning, worn spine defects, image transfer to adjacent page (some pages), page count starts at 381 to 832 (please see photos to see the defects noted & un-noted). The pictures and text thru out the book are good. Could not authenticate if the three copies of the Richmond Enquirer were original or reprints. The newspapers have creases, pinholes, foxing , browning. The scrapbook is circa 1960s, about 24 pages, some pages are missing the pic/article and there are several loose civil war articles. Washington Post Nov 1965 article (Page 24 & 25) minor defects, foxing, browning . Charleston Evening Post 1973 foxing, browning, minor defects.
