Description: Antique Chinese Peking Red Overlay Snowflake Glass Snuff Bottle, of flattened ovoid shape with sloping shoulders, round neck, thin and flat mouth rim, raised oval foot and countersunk base, fine detailed carved decoration of archaistic kui dragons design in the formation of the character xi (happiness) from the mat lipstick red overlay down to the bubbled and white flecked “snowflake” base glass, the shoulder with animal mask and ring handles also in red as well at the foot rim. The stopper, collar and thin curved spoon carved of ivory. 2-3/8 inches high x 1-5/8 inches wide x 3/4 of an inch deep (6cm x 4cm x 2cm) 1 oz.
