Description: Antique Chinese Carved Hetian Nephrite Ice White Jade & Gold Necklace Pendant For sale here we have a gorgeous Antique Chinese Large Hetian Nephrite White Jade rectangular plaque necklace pendant! It depicts a beautiful and highly detailed carved scene of one of the Chinese Immortal Gods on one side with calligraphy characters on the opposite side that we're sure are for good luck or some similar blessing of the gods.It is in superb overall condition for its age with no issues that I have seen, several of the characters are worn showing the age. We have never been sure of just how old it is but it was given to my mother by my Chinese grandmother who lived in the Oakland / San Fransisco area for most of her life and she would buy jewelry off of her fellow Chinese friends or neighbors when they were down on their luck and needed money and then she gifted some of it to my parents and other family. If I remember right we've had this since at least the late 70's or early 80's which was around when she gifted it to my mother. It has an 18K gold bail and it weighs 193 carats. It measures 2-1/4" long by 1-9/16" wide by 1/4" thick. I only accept PayPal due to Ebay's payment policies.
