Description: Antique Chess Set 2 1/2 Inch King Complete (Mixed?) Pre-Staunton Tulip Bishop This is a well played set and shows evidence of play wear; some of the pieces have minor chips and repairs. Both black and white rooks are different sizes - one black rook is the same size as one white rook; similarly, one knight is noticably larger than the other three. One tulip bishop is larger than the other three. I am not sure if this is a mixed set, an antique factory second, or just the way it came. Some of the tops of the knights might come apart in the mail since they are not glued on; this is common and they can be easily reattached. Please see all photos for exact condition.
