Description: I have here an interesting Old Chas. Parker No.3/0X Bench Vise. It has 3-1/4” wide jaws and weighs approximately 28 lbs. The vise is about 15-1/4” in length when fully closed. Chas. Parkers Superior “X” line of vises are well known as one of the best bench vises ever produced to this day. The castings were extremely thick, they sported a very sleek and pleasing to the eye design, and are still highly sought after to this day. This particular Parker Vise is a little different than its companions, and has a cool low profile but solid design, as well as having a factory spring around the spindle to eliminate backlash and slop. The vise has been stripped, cleaned and oiled, revealing no cracks or breaks in the casting. Other than a few dings and dents from years of light usage this vise is in great shape and would provide many more years of service. This vise is the perfect size for any workshop/hobby bench and would also be a neat conversation piece. This vises are becoming harder and harder to find, and I have never seen another of the same model. Vises, just like other tools, aren’t made like they used to be, so these become more harder to find as people sort out the good ones to save from the scrap. Thank you for viewing and don’t hesitate to message me with any questions about the vise. Will ship to the lower 48 and Canada.
