Description: Late 18th century chair. Original orange-red paint. Tons of primitive charm! Design on back of chair is unknown due to cushion. Unknown when Bemis feed sack cushions were added, please see photos. Chair shows centuries of wear and usage. Back of chair is 33.5” tall Seat is 18” at widest. Seat is 14”deep Seat is 15” from ground. Slight wobble though still able to support some weight. Chair is probably best as a decoration piece for your collection. With some small touch ups this chair could be used as a household chair. Please see photos for details of condition, seat has heavy wear, though still able to support some weight. Within the seat, Some cane parts have damage as shown. Original Hand made feed sack cushions. Seat cushion is removable. Back cushion is stapled in place. Staples look modern.
