Antique CASE XX 1940-64 6265 SAB Folding Hunter Knife Chestnut Red Bone Handles

Description: This is a vintage CASE 6265 SAB “Folding Hunter” pocket knife.The tang stamp is CASE XX 1940-1964.Pattern # 6265 SAB, 5-1/4” closed.Brass liners with pinned shield. CV (carbon) steel blades.Both blades have super strong snap.Each blade has slight wobble. As the photos show, the blade pin is pulled into the bolster a bit on front.Blades have each been very lightly sharpened; blades are full and have most of the original finish with patina and stains.Handles are chestnut bovine bone with great color.The front handle has a crack under the center pin (see photos).The handles have no other cracks or damage.The handles on this knife were crafted from South American Zebu cattle shin bone. Genus/Species - Bos indicus or Bos taurus indicus.
