Description: This is an absolutely stunning piece manufactured by Carl Thiemes from Dresden, Germany in the early 20th century, based on the marking. It is an oval bowl in a beautiful porcelain white with gold details and hand-painted applied and painted-on flowers of pinks, purples, oranges, blues and yellows flanked with greenery. It is very difficult to find it. Some of the flowers have been chipped over the years but it is difficult to notice from a distance. Otherwise, the piece is in remarkable condition with no observed chips, cracks, crazing, or discoloration. It looks like brand new due to it was stored in our basement for generations.
