Description: This is a lovely oval porcelain serving platter decorated with pink to white wild roses and a lot of leaves and greenery. The reason I describe these as wild roses, is I can see the thorns on the stems, the design is so detailed. It is 14 inches long, 10 inches wide and weighs about 2 pounds 5 ounces. It was made by Theodore Haviland, in Limoges France. The red decorator mark of Theodore Haviland, with Theodore underlined was used from 1903 into the 1920’s so it is between about 100 and 120 years old. It does also have the maker mark of TH impressed into the porcelain. It is excellent antique shape and I see no chips, cracks, stains or crazing. There are only a few and quite faint utensil marks on the glaze looking at an angle to the light and there is a small pock mark in the glaze. There is a bit of rub wear on the brushed gold trim on the handles. It is a beautiful piece, that could be used for a special celebration and then displayed because it is Haviland Limoges! Please zoom in on the pictures and see the 360 degree video (when eBay loads it) for a closer look. I pack with lots of bubble wrap for safe shipping and ship out quickly, sometimes same day, always by next business day, and sometimes on Saturdays if I can make it to the post office before they close at noon. Any questions, please ask, and thanks for looking!!
