Antique Bradley & Hubbard Country Store/School/Saloon Hanging Oil Lamp Pat. 1886

Description: Antique B&H country store, school, saloon hanging lamp. There are two patent dates on the font Aug. 11 18-- and Dec. 21, 1886. Flame spreader has B&H Radiant #5 pat'd July 1, 80 June 2, 86brass font marked B&H #5 Radiantoil fill cap marked B&Hwhite milk glass mushroom shade 14" wide across the bottomclear glass chimneyblack cast metal frame - B&H marked on framehas the ceiling hanging chain motor with it ( the nails are just there to keep chain from unwinding )has not been electrifiedthe overall height of the lamp as shown in the photos is 30"the widest part of the lamp as shown in the photos is 17 1/2" In very good antique condition. The things I did notice are the wick turner needs some work to turn smoothly it seems to be seized and does not raise or lower asis. Shade has some black residue streak on the glass ( see last photo ). The brass could be polished or left showing it's antique age. The frame has some finish loss as expected for a lamp this age.
