A beautiful antique German Black Forest cuckoo clock dating to circa 1870. The clock comprises of a carved wooden frame inlaid with fine wood and decorated with intricate carved details. Demonstrating the finest quality of craftsmanship, the ebonised dial is decorated with white Roman numerals. The whole is decorated with a floral finial. The original twin train movement is present, striking the hours and half hours on a gong whilst the cuckoo also chimes. The pendulum and winding key are present. Approximate dimensions: Condition: Overall, the clock is in good condition. The clock has a clean movement and has recently been serviced.
