This antique clock is done in the Arts & Crafts, or Mission design.This clock look very much like clocks manufactured by the National Clock Manufacturing Co. around 1910/20s. This clock has a plane square face made of a dark stained Oak wood, with raised metal arabic numerals. The face is approximately 12 5/8 inches wide by 12 3/4 inches tall. The clockworks box looks to be made of a clear grained Pine wood. The clock works look identical to the clockworks produced by the National Clock Mfg. Co. The clock winds up and works. This clock will need a pendulum. Most of the restoration will be cosmetic, adding two side vertical stiles to the back, with a lower cross piece will complete the Arts & Crafts look. The back panel will need to be replaced. If you are a collector of antique clocks, If you love restoring antique clocks this will be the perfect restoration project to jump into.
