Description: If you are looking for a central piece for your collection of Native American artifacts, you can't go wrong with this! This mid to late 1800's Arapaho buckskin and beaded cradle doll is just the right piece to take center stage. This is a museum worthy, brain tanned buckskin leather beaded cradle doll with a classic Arapaho beaded tab on top. The doll has a muslin body and real hair. This is not a doll that was made for tourist trade. Rather it was likely made for a young Arapaho girl's toy. The doll measures approximately 11-1/4" long by 3-7/8" wide. It is about 2-3/4" tall as it rests and 3-3/8" tall if the cradle hood is supported. Please review all of the photos as they are a large part of the description and a testament to the condition. It is coming from a smoke free home and will be carefully packaged and shipped USPS Priority Mail. Normal Priority Mail includes tracking and standard insurance which covers the package contents to $100.00. To increase the insurance to cover the full purchase value will cost and additional $51.80. If you would like the additional insurance added please contact us and ask for the increased insurance before you hit the Buy it Now button. That way we can add the insurance as a handling charge. If you contact us after the fact we will not be able to accommodate your request.
